Chapin Manufacturing began by creating better, leak-proof kerosene cans for a local hardware store. The company patented its first compressed air sprayer around 1902–1903, evolving into a global leader in durable,, American-made sprayers for home, garden, and industrial use.
I have used Chapin Sprayers for years, They are affordable and last. While they last for a long time certain chemicals can take a toll on the parts, but with Chapin sprayers you can usually order replacement parts. This is my opinion on the sprayers that I have purchased in the past and I do not represent Chapin in any way.

The Chapin 61900 Tree/Turf Professional and Commercial backpack sprayer – 4 Gallon features a large 4 gallon capactiy tank and hands-free operation which gives you the power to handle even the largest spray jobs. An internal 4-position spray valve provides excellent pressure control from 15 psi to 60 psi. A pump handle allows you to spray continuously. The Chapin 61900 backpack sprayer also features a stainless steel wand and adjustable brass cone nozzle and a plastic fixed fan tip nozzle. This backpack sprayer comes with a Brass Cone Adjustable Nozzle, Plastic Adjustable Cone Nozzle, and a Plastic Fan Tip Nozzle (Fan Tip is not adjustable, it is a fixed fan pattern).
